THE DRAGON USERS SUPPORT PAGES

The NDUG was probably one of the oldest user groups in the UK, offering world wide support for Dragon users, and its clone the Tandy Coco2. Both of these computers were based on the early 8-bit Motorola 6809 chip, the forerunner of the family of chips which have appeared in numerous computers including both the Amiga and the Macintosh.These pages provide details of the Group which finally folded in April 2000, support is still available for Dragon users, however and details can be found on these pages. Finally, information on relevant Websites and support groups, including OS9 groups, are listed on the LINKS page.

THE INTERNATIONAL DRAGON USERS GROUP (IDUG)

Robert Smith (convener of this Yahoo group) hopes to have some magazine pages on-line
early in 2002, he's calling them 'Dragon Update - The Next Generation'.
To read them, however you will have to join the Yahoo Group, details available from
Robert at robert.smith @ mitransport.no - or you could send an email to
dragonuser-subscribe@yahoogroups.com - in the meantime, he would appreciate any
articles, reviews, pictures that would interest members.

DETAILS OF THE DRAGON EMULATOR

Stewart Orchard's disk upgrade to Paul Burgin's PCDRAGON II emulator (version 2.06) is now available for download (see Emulator page), it is also available from the author, Paul Burgin, at his website - http://www.burgins.com/dragon.
It is available on disk (state format) at £ 3.50 post free, for the upgrade, from
Paul Grade, 6 Navarino Road, WORTHING, Sussex, BN11 2NF
It is also available as a stand alone program on two PC disks at the same price from -
UP-2-DATE, 5 Glen Road, Parkstone, POOLE, Dorset BH14 0HF

The disks include documentation and VCOPY a program which copies Dragon disks
to and from the emulator, plus DSKINIT a PC program which formats Dragon disks
on the PC.

In order to transfer files to and from your Dragon it is necessary to either have a
a 3.5 inch drive on your Dragon, or access to a 5.25 drive on a PC.

DRAGON PROGRAMS AS 'VIRTUAL' DISKS or CASSETTES

It was my intention to put my Dragon programs, after conversion to 'virtual disks' on
to a CD, or Online here. I have, however, given all my Dragon hardware and software to Simon Hardy, who is in the process of putting the software online in his Dragon Archive. Address is www.dragon-archive.co.uk
